Tony does a great job on this song. He gets an amazing warm tone on his sax. Sometimes its nice to set the table for someone else. Enjoy!

Billie Holiday
No one dropped the bucket into the emotional well deeper than Billie Holiday. This has always been one of my favorite songs by my favorite artist.

I came up with this bluesy riff in C minor. Is's very laid back but has a nice little twist on the turnaround. I play guitar, bass and piano and my good friend percussionist extraodinaire Brian Biddulph plays tasty brushes, bongos and tamborine. Enjoy!

Bill Withers
The original is perfection.
I have always performed this song live with a reggae beat. I was noodling in my studio when I came across a good beat. I laid the bass and a few guitar tracks and I was on to something.Shawnlaree and Tony came by, she sang some very sexy notes and he did his usual tasty and restained sax lines. I offer you my version of Bill Withers "Ain't No Sunshine"
Download and enjoy (Let me know what you think) Dana

Bill Withers

I found this version in the archives. Early in this century I was playing with an organ trio. Skip Van Winkl on organ , John Risnk on drums and me on guitar. We play it with a reggae beat and I was in my wah wah phase. It's pretty funky. Enjoy!

I title and dedicate this ballad to my daughter Avalon. She just turned fourteen and I was missing her when I wrote this.

I borrowed a little bit of this and a little bit of that and came up with "Roller Bump". I was inspired by the Oregon roller derby team Cherry City Derby Girls
